Poster - Contact Investigation by Community Cadre in Public Primary Health Care in Surakarta City and Jember District in Indonesia
Contact investigation (CI) was a policy but not yet systematically implemented. Public primary health cares, or Puskesmas, hold the main responsibility for CI. Staffs are limited, therefore CI was often done by inviting contacts to the Puskesmas for TB screening. Community cadres were available but not yet engaged or funded for TB CI. CI recording and reporting is paper-based and not yet integrated to the national electronic TB surveillance system, therefore data is limited.
